Dr. Guduru VNSR Ratnakara Rao obtained his ME in Mechanical Engineering from Gulbarga University and Doctorate from JNTU Hyderabad. After his initial teaching stint at Chennai, he served the BVC Engineering College, Odalarevu, AP for almost a decade as Asst.Professor, Associate Professor and Professor. Dr. Ratnakar became Principal of Praveenya institute of Marine Engineering and Maritime studies, Visakhapatnam and Bhimavaram Institute of Engineering Technology, Bhimavaram between 2011 and 2013. |
| He joined Sri Vasavi Engineering College, Tadepalligudem in 2013 as Professor and Head of Mechanical Engineering. As Dean, Academic Affairs since 2015, he has taken active part in the administration of the college. He is a member of esteemed professional societies like ISTE and IE and has got research publications in International Journals of high repute. |
| Dr. Ratnakar has been instrumental in getting Sri Vasavi NBA-accredited as Co-ordinator of accreditation work. He has also laid foundations for OBE (Outcome Based Education) in the college and is actively pursuing its implementation. Dr.Ratnakar took the reins as Principal of Sri Vasavi Engineering College in June 2018 and is steering the college to reach higher destinations. |
