A Five - Day Workshop On “RF & Microwave Engineering” (A Faculty Refresher Program) 7-11 December 2011

The field of RF and Microwave Engineering has been in greatest utilization in defense and military applications for a long time and is now in the forefront as a fundamental technology in wireless communications and other civilian, industrial and medical applications.
Though the subject microwave engineering is included as a core subject of ECE branch there is a dearth of faculty specialized in this area for effective teaching of the subject and is normally being taught by faculty who have done their Master’s program in other areas. In fact, it would be a very interesting and fascinating subject if the concepts were introduced properly. Hence, it is proposed to conduct a faculty refresher program “RF & Microwave Engg.” to train faculty for effective teaching of subjects like Microwave and Radar engineering.
