Online Library Facility

List of online National/International Journals subscribed :

This college is member of SONET, Govt of A.P,Hyderabad and it is obtaining Digital Library facilities for all the online national /international journals subscribed by the SONET.

We are subscribed e-journals through INDEST-AICTE consortium for the year 2006-2007. It covers a number of 171 journals related to IEL online (120) ASME(21) &ASCE(30).

E- Library facilities:

Educational CDs supplied by SONET &Text Books are available in the college Library.

The books included in the academic syllabus, does not always solve the purpose of giving a clear idea of the subject. At such times, the student feels the need to have some other resource that would help him make understand the subject in depth and give him a clear idea of know-how the use of the subject in the practical life. To become an engineer the know-how of the subject in practicality keeps more importance. We feel that every student who studies in our college should have a thorough knowledge of the subject without having any doubts. Borrow golden hours and bestow them on books. 

The total collection of our library is 43,193 volumes, 4448 standards of Indian Standard Institution. The collection includes, Encyclopedias like McGraw-Hill for science & technology, Britannica for science & invention. Apart from all the big collection, the library has subscribed to 148 periodicals, including 72 International journals.

AP-SONET DIGITAL LIBRARY:

          Digital Library provides full text access to IEEE transactions, journals, magazines, conference proceedings, ASME, ASCE, and ACM on line journals through AP-SONET

ONLINE LIBRARY SYSTEM:

Sri Vasavi Engineering College provides the online library system for the all the students our online Library facility with every student can have access through the Internet. So no more waiting for any book, no more spending thousands to buy international edition books with this Digital Library which is unique of its kind, there will never be a chance for unavailability of a book. This kind of Online Library facility is currently offered only in IITs and in MSIT programmes in IIIT & SIT (JNTU) and in top universities with these all exiting and sophisticated facilities. We in SVEC believe can mould a true engineering professional.
